update.
school is going well. i'm taking:
Modern dance II
Bio II
World Civ I
Theatre I
African American Lit
It has snowed a couple times. Winter is late this year.
Nobody can seem to dress warm enough though.
I'm going to be dancing with suitcases in the Appalachian Dance Ensemble.
I have pretty much secured an apartment for next year. Its real big.
Ive got some goat cheese and sweet potatoes and pasta.
I wonder if i could make something with all three.
and i've been painting, i painted yesterday, and i think i'll do it again today.
I'll probably do that before my homework.

preservation hall jazz band.
i went and oh my god, i had the most unbelievable experience of my life.
firstly, the show was incredible.
i had the goosebumps.
they had this parade that went around the auditorum, i joined in (bymyself) and i danced
and clapped
and it went on stage, and i danced on stage with them
AFTER THE CONCERT
i went backstage to get one of their original vinyls signed
and they all loved that i had thatand they all signed it, and warmed up to me, and asked me to sing something
so i did
and one guy picked up a guitar and started jamming to me
and they all told me stories
and i left with tears in my eyes. I will never
ever
forget this

review of FALL BREAK:
Wednesday:
-went to bed early
Thursday:
-woke up at 4:00am
-boarded airplane
-arrived in ORLANDO at 9:09am
-had lots sushi and udon soup and felt sick after
-went to enzion theatre and saw science of sleep: it was good-
pretty much what i expected. plus gael garcia. yipes.
-went to i bar and danced with ian, rachel, kelly and ellie and
benji. haha. (was up for 22 hours)
Friday:
-went to blue springs and tubed with bitty sharks and fish
and man pooping in water
-went to JENNY LEWIS and WATSON TWINS who were
AMAZING and had an amazing show with amazing showmanship.
(the blow opened. shes adorable and ive had her song stuck in my head
all day)
Saturday:
-Thai food (mee pooooooo!?)
-EPCOT FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL (so fun. i love rachel. and eating
ethnic food and drink like mead and pomegranate champagn.)
-running from test track to soarin' in 8 minutes and getting
kicked and spit on by benji
Sunday:
-back in my dorm room. pghkjhawoarhasda. |

update:
+school is going well, im getting good marks
+the weather is remarkable, right now its 53 degrees
+the leaves are beginning to change, and all the brightest the leaves are scattered all over the softest grass you're thighs will ever feel
+i live on a mountain so there are almost always bright blue skies
+im going camping this weekend
+i had the best weekend. benji came up for my birthday and we dominated boone, NC
-i miss everyone so incredibly much that it brought tears to my eyes tonight, i dont think anyone realizes, no i take that back, i know everyone realizes (you know who you are) how unwordly remarkable our friends and friendships are, and i want everyone to know how much i value the friendships i have at home, and i want everyone to know how hard im going to try to not be forgotten
-i miss south florida a lot, not just the physical area, but all the things that accompany the feelings of home.
-even though i didnt do anything celebratory tonight, its okay because i let off a lot of steam instead.

i'm moving up to NC today with my family for a little bit of the rest of my life. i'll be back though, in july for what looks like right now could be 10 days or so. could be more, depending on the man who is buying our house, but it certainly wont be less. so let's all do something then..

I have this sudden impulse to turn the wheel quickly, head-on into the oncoming car. I can anticipate the explosion. The sound of shattering glass. The... flames rising out of the flowing gasoline. |
